I am a freelance graphic designer, researcher and educator based in London. I have experience of working with a range of clients on a variety of interdisciplinary and collaborative projects within cultural publishing, exhibition and environmental design, book design and identity projects. I also have experience of working with community and issue-based intiatives, communication strategy and event co-ordination. Clients include The British Council, The Age of No Retirement, The Royal College of Art, Unit Editions, Commonland, This is Real Art, The National Pavilion UAE (Venice Biennial 2017), The University of Birmingham & The British Fashion Council.
My research is focused on the relationship between graphic design and socio-political engagement – exploring how visual communication can create platforms for debate, activate forms of dialogue and directly influence our understanding of social and political issues within the public sphere. I also have considerable experience in education as a tutor on the MA Visual Communication Programme at the Royal College of Art and as Adjunct Professor at Richmond University, The American University in London.
